road tripppppppppppinnn'

I'll start my post today like I do all my others- APOLOGIES for not writing here for a very long time. But I'm back! From my up the coast exploration Santa Barbara, Hearst Castle, Carmel, San Luis Obispo, and finally, San Francisco and Berkeley.

Though I could have gone to the desert, by myself, and have some quality alone time I chose to go with my three friends up the coast. We had such good fortune- meeting my long lost Chinese Uncle, having a "kick back in Berkeley after dining at Chez Panisse, and finally- Marty and his sherry.
Santa Barbara was so beautiful but very windy and a bit cold on the beach.

We stayed at this sick Best Western in Cambria, CA - and made s'mores in front of the beach. Coronas in the hot tub watching the sunset on the beach.

Hearst Castle bright and early the next morning-

Next, we drove all the way to SF and had the best luck eva- the Inn San Francisco in the Mission was so quaint and fun!

  1. How was Carmel? I visited San Francisco about two years ago with my family and we drove up and down the coast and I fell in love with Carmel, I could definitely see myself living there one day.
