fresh powder in Sun Valley brahhh

here in beautiful Sun Valley, Idaho. It's nice to remember what winter winter felt like- TN or obviously soCal winters doesn't compare to the West. Today was my first day back skiing- from my long hiatus- and it felt so exhilarating. New Year's Resolution (among others): Go skiing more often.  I am not by any means a bad skier but skiing is sexy man and I need to work on my finesse. Though I totally looked like an old lady in my ski apparel aka matched my mother. I was quite anxious like any old woman about falling/breaking a hip on the slopes. It's like riding a bike though, you learn when you're wee and don't forget.  But...it was a great first day here and I just came back from ice skating. I mean.. have to get in all of my winter sport fixes! Regretfully, no curling. Wtf is that?

*Never fully realized how bro-ey snowboarding dudes are. like Whoaaaaaaaa-

Ketchum is a very cool little town. I just really like the West in general. Walking around in my fur coat and Dr. Zhivago hat. Sometimes people ask me if I'm from Russia.

I'm kind of rambling now but I'm very happy and grateful to be here. It's so beautiful and I love the cold refreshing wind on my skin. More updates from the slopes but early start tomorrow so I must go to bed (keeping with the old lady shtick).
